NYSkies Astronomy Seminar The Seminar is usually a round table discussion on current astronomy topics. Attendees work from magazines, newspapers, websites, other astronomy meetings for source material.
In the months between school semesters, the Seminar features a Summer Lecture Series, presented by area astronomers to explain their projects. This fills in the 'valley' when lectures elsewhere are on leave. During the school year, occasional special lectures are offered as the opportunity allows.
The best and latest news about the Seminar is in the NYSkies Yahoogroup, where last minute announcements are posted.
If you have an empty Wednesday on your astronomy calendar, hop a train or bus and ride to the stars with The NYSkies Astronomy Seminar.
