National Radio Astronomy School
The Springfield STARS Club will meet on Tuesday, April 24th at 7:30pm at the Springfield Science Museum at the Quadrangle. The featured speaker will be club member Dr. David Wexler, who spent a week at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in Green Bank, WV last summer. Dr. Wexler will review concepts and highlights from the radio astronomy course, which included data gathering from the world's largest single-dish telescopes at Green Bank and Arecibo. Free refreshments will be provided at the meeting.
