Globe at Night
The Globe at Nights campaign is being conducted in four observing windows for 2012.  This is a chance for everyone to become a participant by determing how many star you can see at your location in the constellation Leo (the lion) and then submitting a simple report.  The object is to gather world wide the effects of light pollution.  Interested individuals should  contact the Globe at Night web page for instructions at http://www.globeatnight.org.  (Note: the first event was Jan 14-23, 2012)
