Astronomy for New Members
Come out to the Observatory for a grand tour and learn about our Club and the Observatory hosted by Bryan Summer  This program is designed to help newer members become acquainted with other members and procedures at the observatory and to help get you started as an amateur astronomer.
  New Member Meetings with be held on the third Saturday of each month, beginning March 17, 2012, from 6 to 7 PM and open to all members. All meetings are during the authorized observing period and observing will follow, weather permitting.  Bryan will recruit one or more members to speak at each event. No boring lectures, but guaranteed to further your quest of astronomy.

Notes:
Please remember the road to the Observatory is on private property and to take care while driving. Visitors to the Observatory are restricted to the Observatory area and restroom facilities and a warm room is available. Please be sure to dress for the weather! Our activities happen outdoors and the telescope facilities and dome area is not heated. Families are always welcome and there is never a charge. Public nights are always on the first Saturday of every month and you may check our website for additional programs offered during the month. Please contact the webmaster if you wish a special tour or program.
