Information for Visitors:
Visit Shadow Cliffs Regional Park to safely view the Venus Transit. Special filters will be used to reduce the blinding light from the Sun so we can safely view Venus as it moves in it's orbit directly between Earth and the Sun.

In addition to viewing at Shadow Cliffs, there will be solar telescopes setup inside Mt. Diablo State Park at the Juniper Campground as well.

Both sites offer opportunities to safely view the Sun.

NEVER LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE SUN, PERMANENT EYE DAMAGE CAN OCCUR.
