Gateway to the Stars Gateway to the Stars, a special astronomy presentation, will take place in the Odyssey Theater at the St. Louis Gateway Arch on Monday, July 11, 2011 from 8:00 to 9:00pm. Terry Menz, Outreach Coordinator for the River Bend Astronomy Club will present activities including interactive demonstrations and instructions on how to earn the Junior Ranger Night Explorer badge from the National Parks Service. Participants will also be provided with instructions on how to participate in the Globe at Night campaign in Spring of 2013 to collect information on light pollution. After the presentation, telescope viewing opportunities will be provided by members of the St. Louis Astronomical Society and the River Bend Astronomy Club until 10:30 pm.

Notes:
Parking is usually available in the Old Cathedral parking lot just west and slightly south of the Arch. If space is not available, use the Arch Parking Garage located north of the Arch on Washington Avenue.
