The Sun (and Venus) over Little Mulberry Park - Open to the Public

The transit of Venus across the face of our Sun is a rare occurrence, and this year will mark the last event for the next 105 years. 

In the southeast United States, the transit will begin June 5, 2012 just after 6:00 pm. 

Please join us at Little Mulberry Park, located at 3855 Fence Road Auburn, GA, to celebrate this truly rare event. 

Activities will begin around 5:30 pm and continue until Sunset.  (around 8:45 pm).  There will be three telescopes offering safe viewing of the transit.  There will also be a limited number of solar glasses available.
