The John C. Wells Planetarium is a $1.5 million state-of-the-art hybrid planetarium, one of only 6 like it in the entire US! Every Saturday afternoon at 2:30, 3:30 and 4:30PM, join us for a full dome video followed by a live star talk where we will raise our one-of-a-kind starball and show you the gorgeous Shenandoah Valley night sky! If its sunny, we will also have our solar telescopes setup in the courtyard showing you the Sun like you've never seen it before! This isn't the pale yellow dot that kids draw in elementary school! You will see our Sun as the active, dynamic star that it is! Please join us!
