See the wonders of the night sky through telescopes set up by the Astronomical Unit, the amateur astronomy club sponsored by the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History. Star parties are held on the second Saturday of every month, weather permitting, next to Palmer Observatory on the Museum grounds. Admission is $2 for adults, and $1 for children 12 and under, and free to Museum and AU members. Planetarium shows put on by the Museum are available, with a separate admission charge.
