Information for Visitors:
If you bring a flashlight, it must be covered with red cellophane or red filter. No white flashlights since it ruins your night vision which takes 15-30 minutes to recover from bright lights. No running or eating around telescopes. Do not touch telescope since it may move off the target being viewed.

Notes:
Short directions from either East or West when traveling on the H-1 Freeway. If traveling West take Exit 5A (West) Ewa to get to Kunia Road to go South. If traveling East take Exit 5 (East) to get on Kunia Road to go South. Once on Kunia Road continue traveling South over the Freeway at which point Kunia Road changes name only to Fort Weaver Road. Continue on Fort Weaver Road until you reach Geiger Road on the right and Iroquois Road on the left. You will pass through 5 stop lights (one which is only a pedestrian stop light). The next stop light is Geiger so keep in the right lane so you can turn right at Geiger Road. The Ewa Town Center is at this intersection. Once you turn onto Geiger Road, go to the second stop light which is the intersection of Geiger Road and Kapolei Parkway. Keep in th right lane to turn right onto Kapoleo Parkway. The community park is on your right. You can park along Kapolei Parkway or you can go to the next street (Kahiuka) and then turn right to park along the street or look for the entrance to the parking lot on your right. It is adjacent to the rest rooms.
Star parties at Geiger Park are generally held nearest the first quarter Moon on Saturdays.
