If you bring a flashlight, it must be covered with red cellophane or red filter. No white flashlights since it ruins your night vision which takes 15-30 minutes to recover from bright lights. No running or eating around telescopes. Do not touch telescope since it may move off the target being viewed.

Notes:
Short direction from points West: Take H-1 to Kahala Exit. Drive past Kahala Mall on your right (actually you go to the third stop light after exiting H-1). Turn right on Kilauea. Go to the third left which is Pahoa Ave. Go to the end of the narrow street and park along the street (there is a small parking lot but it is usually full). Walk onto the field and look for telescopes and people.
