Every 3rd Thursday of the month the Southern Colorado Astronomical Society (SCAS) will hold its membership meeting.  Guests and visitors are always welcome.  SCAS will present astronomical related topics and lectures during the meeting as well as conduct society business and discuss upcoming events.  The monthly topic will be found on the SCAS website on the home page as well as the corresponding month of the calendar.  The society will provide refreshments at no cost to anyone.

Information for Visitors:
You do not need to be a member to attend our meetings.  We welcome visitors to our meetings and do hope you leave known more about your night sky than when you arrived.  While you are at the meeting please feel free to ask astronomical related questions of the membership.  If you have a telescope question we have several members that are highly experienced with astronomy's primary instrument.  And if you have a telescope you need a hand with please feel free to bring it to the meeting.  Questions concerning monthly meeting should be directed to our Public Relations Director, Alan Knight.
