2014 April:  Astrobiology and Exoplanets:  The Search Beyond

Saturday, April 26, 2014 - Teacher Workshop

Workshop will be held at Yerkes Observatory from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.

This is a multi-disciplinary workshop which brings together biology, chemistry, physics, and earth and space sciences. The workshop will explore what is life and the prebiotic signatures for life on other planets, what life might look like on other worlds, and communication with other worlds. Participants will engage in hands-on activities.

Cost for workshop is $35.00 and registration is suggested.  Registration includes CPDUs and lunch.

Free Saturday Tours Throughout the Year - Yerkes Observatory is open for free public tours every Saturday throughout the year. Programs begin at 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and Noon. While there is no charge, we appreciate a suggested donation of five dollars per person.
