Volunteer Opportunities at Chabot Space & Science Center
RSVP and Register for Orientation:
May 3rd, 2014, 10am - 2pm Chabot Space & Science Center volunteers make earth and space science come alive for visitors through interactive and hands-on experiences. Extend your sense of wonder and increase your knowledge through our dynamic volunteer program.
- You don't have to be a scientist or a physicist; we’ll teach you!
- Learn to operate our historic telescopes
- Enjoy unique conversations with visitors on the exhibit floor
- Educate and inspire over 50,000 school children that visit each year
- Assist with special events and share Chabot with the community through outreach
- Shifts available Tuesday through Sunday daytime and Friday and Saturday evenings
If you love to learn and you care about the way we inspire tomorrow's scientists today, consider becoming a Chabot Science & Science Center volunteer. We ask our volunteers to work 8 hours per month and for at least one year. For more information on our volunteer program and to RSVP for orientation, visit http://www.chabotspace.org/adult-volunteers.htm or contact the Volunteer Department at volunteers@chabotspace.org or 510-336-7304.
