Saturn is directly opposite of the Sun tonight in our night sky. We will also be the closest to Saturn that we will be all year. Fans of our solar system's ringed planet: this will be one of the best times this year to catch Saturn and its rings in all their glory

Saturn will be visible all night, rising and setting opposite our Sun in the night sky. Its disc and rings will be fully illuminated, putting on a spectacular show through even a small telescope.Look for it in Libra, in between Antares amd Spice.
