We will present "The Sun over McConnell starting at 9:30 A.M for the two 6th grade classes of Mrs. Sandidge as well asthe two classes of Mr. Yoder.  We will present inside how NASA launched the Curiosity rover to Mars and how it will land once it will get there.  In addition, we will take a close up of Mars using a planetary program.  Than it will continue outside where we will give the students a feel for the relative distances in the solar system and finally observe the Sun.  If te first day is cloudy, we will changethe date to 5/8
