This series of 8 consecutive weekly presentations, beginnining on March 24, requires registration and fees at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UNC-Asheville.

We will study the question of and science around life beyond earth: both elsewhere in our solar system and in the Milky Way galaxy. Topics include star and planet formation, the biochemistry of life, conditions for habitability, interstellar communication/travel and more. We will not consider UFOs or unidentified aerial phenomena.

Club member and retired astronomy professor Terry Richardson will lead this course.
