NIGHT SKY NETWORK
      Our Night Sky Network is open for both club members and non-members alike, (and IT'S FREE).  Here you will find information on all of the public outreach events we support. You may join our Night Sky Network, request or schedule events, and keep up with our efforts to promote amature astronomy throughout the Tampa Bay area. ST. PETERSBURG ASTRONOMY CLUB
     The St. Petersburg Astronomy Club, (SPAC), Inc., has been meeting continuously since 1927. For almost 50 years SPAC has provided free educational programs for its members and the public. We currently have 197 adult members.

GENERAL MEETINGS
     We, together with the Pinellas County Science Center host free astronomy programs at each monthly General Meeting. These include lectures, demonstrations, and discussions, and are often combined with observing sessions. The meetings are held at 8:00 P.M. on the forth Friday of each month, (except November and December, when the meetings are held on the third Friday) at the Science Center of Pinellas County, 7701 22nd Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL. The General Meetings are open to the public and are free.

NEW MOON VIEWING
     Our dark sky site is Withlacoochee River Park just east of Dade City, Florida. You do not need to be a member to participate in our monthly outings. Many of the participants stay the weekend in everything from tents to Class A Motorhomes. The park offers hiking and bicycling trails. Bring your canoe and enjoy a peaceful trip on the Withlacoochee.  Please go to www.stpeteastronomyclub.org for more information.

ANNUAL STAR PARTY
     This year, our annual star party, The Orange Blossom Special (OBS) is scheduled for February 11th through February 15th and is open to members and non-members alike.
