Founded in 1996, the Cumberland Astronomical Society is an amateur astronomy club dedicated to advancing the education of its members and the public in the subjects of astronomy and the related sciences. Our membership includes a diverse group of astronomy enthusiasts who share a common interest. Some members are avid astronomy buffs, observers and photographers while others are newcomers to astronomy and may have never looked through a telescope. Whatever a member's experience, we all share a fascination for the mysteries of our universe.
