The region near the Michigan-Indiana border, dubbed Michiana, is a vibrant area for astronomy enthusiasts. Among the highlights are star parties, public lectures, planetarium shows, astronomy club outings, sidewalk astronomy, telescope clinics, model rocketry, astronomy camp, observatories, and strong public outreach.
