The OBX Astronomy Club was founded in 2020 based off a love for all things astronomy - but especially stargazing and astrophotography. The members of the OBX Astronomy Club seek to share the dark skies found here on the Outer Banks of North Carolina with locals and visitors alike, and welcomes anyone and everyone to our public events.

We have recently partnered with the Dare County Public Library system to help promote their Library Telescope Program, and have worked with several local organizations to help bring stargazing to the public here on the OBX.
