Hear the latest update from the Mars Curiosity Rover with Senior Research Scientist Dr. Aileen Yingst of the Planetary Science Institute.

This update is from a presentation given March 26, 2013, just 4 months after the rover's successful landing. Find out what the Mars Science Lab, aka Curiosity, has been up to during the beginning of its Martian adventure.

Dr. Yingst is a wonderful speaker and studies rocks, especially what they can tell us about the history of an environment. She is the deputy Principal Investigator on the Mars Hand Lens Imager (MAHLI) instrument, as well as being actively involved with many other instruments on Mars Science Laboratory.
