Dark Sky Star Party – Nov 7^th, Templin Hwy.
I hope everyone can make it, it would be a great time to get acquainted.  The skies at Templin Hwy aren’t completely dark, but much, much better than here in the city. 

Take 5 fwy north to Templin Hwy - just past Castaic - and turn right at the bottom of the exit. Go about 1/4 mile and there is a large turnout/parking area on the right.  Once you pass Castaic and go up the incline, stay on the right because if you miss Templin Hwy, you have to go about 14 miles to the next exit to turn around.

We will arrive around 7 pm and stay until about 10 or ?

there are no bathrooms, last services are in Castaic so that is the place to stop for food/drinks. I think cell service is good.

Bring scopes and binoculars if you have them.
