Join the staff of the Emil Buehler Planetarium and the members of the Central Florida Astronomical Society as we observe the planet Mercury pass in front of the Sun!

The viewing will take place at the patio of the E. Ann McGee Student Center on the Sanford/Lake Mary campus across the parking lot from the planetarium. Solar telescopes will be setup to allow visitors to observe this event safely.

The transit begins around 7:30 am and ends around 1:05 pm. This event is FREE to attend and we will also be live streaming it (link will be provided later) for those unable to attend.
