                <p class="event_paragraph">The Odyssey Astronomy Club and Ten-Acre Observatory held a special lunar viewing session for residents of Maud. Fifteen enthusiastic members of the community enjoyed views of a half Moon. We also viewed Saturn, Venus, Mizar and Alcor. The event was also co-sponsored by the city of Maud, Oklahoma. The skies were cloudy throughout most of the day, but the clouds broke up and cleared off about an hour before start time. The participants were delighted by the close-up view of the Moon and asked lots of good questions.</p>
