Event

Champaign-Urbana Astronomical Society Club Meeting
A talk will be given by a professional or amateur astronomer on a different topic each month including upcoming astronomical events, constellation lore, CUAS planned special activities, current research, and other topics.  We will use the planetarium's projector to view interesting upcoming events happening in the night sky.  A short club business meeting will follow the talks.  Our members will be happy to help you figure out how to use your current telescope or help you figure out which type you may want to purchase.  If you join the club, you can use our observing facilities and equipment.   We also have monthly Family Sky Watch at our observatory just 3 miles south west of Willard airport.  Goto https://cuas.org/calendar/ for a complete list of all of our events. This event repeats on the second Thursday of every month.
