Event

Hello! I am the science teacher for the STEMinoles Summer Camp at Florida State University Schools. Several years ago, TAS member, Andy Flowers brought telescopes to our camp to observe the daytime sky. We were hopeful that this would be possible again this summer. Our last day of camp is Friday, June 23rd. Camp runs from 8am - 12pm but we could plan observation times around YOU. We don't have to have you for the entire duration of this time, I just included these times to give you flexibility in scheduling. This would be our preferred date but we could also hold this event the day before on Thursday, June 22nd if the 23rd is unavailable. We can have the kids visit the telescopes in small groups (our groups range from 8 - 15 students; grades K-5th grade). Thank you for your consideration! Nancy Rosenbaum (Faculty FSUS)
