Event

Join us at Observatory Park to watch the movie, A Million Miles Away, about Mexican-American astronaut José Moreno Hernández. Following the movie we will be lying out on the lawn looking for meteors as the Perseid meteor shower will be peaking. The Perseids is the largest meteor shower with peak sightings of 100-200 meteors an hour. Bring a blanket or chairs for comfortable watching.

Free, registration required. To register go to https://www.eventbrite.com/cc/skywatching-2024-3357499
