This is THE event all those who have a love of the nighttime sky wait patiently for - ASTRONOMY DAY! Join us for a day full of speakers, solar observing, astronomy related activities for the kids, and of course, nighttime observing through the 36" Gueymard Research Telescope, the two smaller domes, and 25+ amateur telescopes set up on the observation deck. All activities are FREE!! But get there early to ensure you get a ticket for entrance to the big telescope, as there are a limited number of tickets. Last year nearly 2,5000 people showed up and had a GREAT time! Don't miss it this year!
