PAS Meeting Open to the Public
Meet in Room LS_205 at Paradise Valley Community College (PVCC) 18401 N 32nd St, Phoenix, AZ
Each PAS meeting has a Guest Speaker who begins at 7:30pm shortly after a few brief announcements.
For the:
September meeting we have Members Night - Mini presentation by PAS Members or others who wish to share. It's like a Show and Tell night.
December Meeting we have the PAS Swap Meet. Bring cash, buy, sell trade astornomical items in an silent auction. Provide item for sale with a piece of paper with a desciption of the item, and your opening bid. Then leave page for others to do Silent Auction before and after meeting. After we close the meeting for the night, exchanges and sales may be made.
May Meeting is Elections os Officers and Pizza Party. Pizza is a cost of $1 per slice. You must RSVP your slices with TerriEvents@pasaz.org for all persons in your party. So, if Joe wants 2 slices of Pepperoni, make sure I know about it. HIs cost will be $2 which he can put in the Snack Fund box at the meeting, next to the pizza.
PAS Meetings are open to everyone and RSVP is not required. Seating may be limited as this is a classroom. Arrive early to ensure you have a seat & bring the whole Family!

We also hold many Telescope Training Workshops & Public Star Parties at this location in G-147 on the campus by the Telescope Dome.

Outdoor events at PVCC are WEATHER PERMITTING. Most events may be canceled if the ground is wet from a storm the night before, or currently raining, or predicted to rain, or if winds / gusts are above 10mph. To be sure event is happening, call Terri 602-561-5398 around 4pm on the day of the event. Some events require Public RSVP to happen.
