A "Ghost" talk program at 6pm will be presented by NPS staff followed by free telescope viewing provided by volunteers from the St. Louis Astronomical Society. Call 314-655-1750 ext. 472 that evening for an update if you aren't sure about the weather.

At 8:30pm a 77% illuminated gibbous moon is in the S; Mercury is very, very low in the W (8 degrees EL, sets at 21:17) Jupiter is higher in the W (43 degrees EL, sets after midnight): Mars is in the SE (41 degrees EL, rises at 4:36pm); Saturn is very low in the SE (7 degrees EL, rises at 19:53).
