Have you ever wanted to go to the moon, take a trip to Mars or Rendezvous with a Comet?  Well here is your chance!  The CMSC is offering simulated missions in its ChallengerLearningCenter.  For ages 10+ (*children under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult).

Comets are full of information ancient information. Their long orbits have kept them frozen in the outer edge of the solar system for millennia leaving them almost unchanged since the early solar system. They are time capsules that can give us insight about the early solar system. These dirty snow balls also hold frozen water and the six basic elements that all life has in common. This mission will take you up close with comet Halley and let you and your team analyze this ancient wonder.
