Event Report

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
Mark spent the day teaching astronomy in Karen Pavlich's Fruitport Middle school science class (we do this every year). Four classes, starting 7:30am, ending 12:00pm. Mark would do a nightsky presentation, then take the class outside to view sunspots. Dennis would run his telescope and Mark worked the Coronado solar scope. The weather was great. Only one tiny sun spot 2353 was visible near the edge of the disk. The Coronado, however, had a terrific view of two huge coronal filaments. Everyone had a good time.
