Jupiter is directly opposite the Sun tonight in our night sky. Jupiter lovers: this will be one of the best times this year to spy on the king of planets!  Our solar system's biggest planet will be visible all night, rising and setting opposite of our Sun. On May 10, Jupiter will also be at its closest approach to Earth for 2018, too!  With its disc fully and brilliantly illuminated, our solar system's largest world will be beautifully bright.
