Comments and anecdotes about the event:
Risks of clouds reduced the turnout, but we had 20+ attendees in attendance at the "Scale of the Universe" talk and the ensuing observation session on the back deck of the Norfolk Botanical Gardens. Double stars, Jupiter, the Moon, several open and globular clusters and even Bode's Galaxy were visible in spite of the light pollution!
