Presentation: Dr. Michael Mumma, Planetary Scientist at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt MD, will present "The Search for Life on Mars - Methane".  Dr Mumma presently serves in the role of Senior Scientist (Emeritus) in the Solar System Exploration Division. He is the founding director of the Goddard Center for Astrobiology and led the team that was the first to detect the release of methane on Mars. He also pioneered the first determination of water in comets.
