FREE Public Star Party!  BSAS members bring and set up telescopes so that everyone can enjoy the view!  Family friendly, everyone is welcome.  Come anytime during the event and stay as long as you like.  (BSAS members bringing telescopes need to arrive early to be ready on time.)

The first quarter Moon is near Saturn in the southwest, while Jupiter is rising in the east.  The winter sky is only now beginning to rise, with the Pleiades cluster leading the way. The stars of the Summer Triangle are setting in the west. The Great Square of Pegasus is overhead, and with it the nearest galaxy, our neighbor Andromeda.
