Join us for an informal 5 week session on Weds evenings to learn about General Astronomy. Topics include reading the weather, using telescopes, finding night sky objects, observing the Moon along with insight on enjoying the night sky from the local area.
The Naylor telescopes will be used for observing - weather dependent.
In addition to NASA related and instructor developed handouts, students are provided with a copy of The Petersen Field Guide Stars and Planets 4th Ed. by Pascaloff, an Edmund Star and Planet Locator planisphere along with an ESSO Star Chart.
