The program will start indoors with a brief talk on the spring sky before heading outside. On the back deck members of Amateur Observor's Society will have telescopes set up to share views of the Moon, the brighter stars and their constellations.

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
Around 50 visitors, many of them families, enjoyed a presentation by Jason Cousins about objects visible in the night sky then joined 9 AOS volunteers who had set up telescopes on the boardwalk. We observed Antares, M13 Hercules cluster, Summer Triangle. Several guests promised to return! said they were not aware of AOS monthly observing opportunities at the Jones Beach Energy & Nature Center and promised to return!
