The Wabash Valley Astronomical Society is hosting a free public solar viewing session at the West Lafayette Observatory.  Astronomical telescopes with special filters will be used to observe the Sun.   Outdoor observing is weather-dependent but a presentation about the Sun will be given indoors even if the sky is mostly cloudy.  Parking is available in front of the West Lafayette Elementary School.
