Dr. Kevin Hainline, Associate Research Professor at Steward Observatory

  Dr. Hainline's primary research focuses on understanding the optical and infrared properties of distant galaxies. Specifically, he works on uncovering new methods for finding powerful supermassive black holes and understanding the relationship between these sources of light and the galaxies that they inhabit. He's also a member of the NASA/James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) NIRCam science team

Notes:
Monthly speaker programs are held in the Activity Center of Sun City Oro Valley. Star Parties are held behind the Views Restaurant in the golf course gold cart parking lot.
