Event

This is a practical talk about the night sky starting with the story of Andromeda using Stellarium. The talk features beautiful pictures (HST, JWST and the largest ground telescopes). It starts with our star (a good way to make the northern lights fit) its past and future compared to others we can see with the naked eye. It uses the charts of the Astronomical League which are available to anyone each month for free. The idea is to motivate the audience to keep looking up with the free software and URLs we provided. Weather permitting we will look at the SUn with the proper filter through a 100mm refractor.
