Event

Solar observing to start, then night observing star party with young astronomers as theme.

UPDATE:  This event is open to the public!  The theme is 'young astronomers' as designated by our host facility.  We will address the basics of how young astronomers (of all ages) can leap into astronomy for fun and with understanding.

The event is hosted by a NASA Solar System Ambassador, Laurie V. Ansorge.  This is RAIN OR SHINE (not weather dependent), interactive, and participants will receive resources for further enjoyment.  While this event is free, the host organizations (nonprofits) gladly accept donations.  Homeschoolers welcome too!

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
Mostly attended by homeschoolers as it was a busy weekend for church members who'd have otherwise attended.
