The Odyssey Astronomy Club is holding a viewing session at the Ten-Acre Observatory (TAO), located at 30222 Slaughterville Rd., Tribbey, Oklahoma. You are welcome to use the TAO most other evenings. So Nick, the TAO’s resident astronomer, will know how many to expect, please contact him at 405-899-4016 or to let him know you are heading to the TAO, whether for a scheduled stargazing session or any other time. There’s no charge to use the TAO.

Here is the list of Objects that we viewed on Saturday Oct. 18, 2025. To start with I pointed out the major constellations including the alpha stars of each. Constellations were Sagittarius, Aquilla (Altair), Hercules, Lyra (Vega), Cygnus (Deneb), the Summer Triangle, Ursa Minor (Polaris), Cassiopiea, Perseus, Pegasus, and Andromeda. Open star clusters: Perseus double cluster and Owl cluster. Globular Cluster: Hercules cluster (M13). Nebulae: Ring Nebula (Planetary,M57), Great dark lane in the Summer arm of the Milky Way. Galaxy: Andromeda (M31). Stars: Vega. Binary stars: Polaris and Alberio. Planet: Saturn (w/ 2 of the larger moons).
