Hello,

My name is Sarah Shaw, and I work for the Leon County Public Library System. Every year, at our primary location in August, we host a short and small, but free, community convention called CosmicCon. We would like to invite your department during this time, specifically on August 23rd, to our event.

Our annual CosmicCon is open to all ages, celebrating reading their favorite genres, and each year has a theme that we embrace to reflect the different genres. This year, the theme is Solarpunk Utopia, and our library will be delving into sustainability, community, and harmonies and conflicts between humans, technology, society, and nature. We believe that your institution supports these sub-themes within this sci-fi genre and provides important educational information that we want our community to know--this also provides the opportunity for the community to get to know your organization better.
