Stargaze following Miami County Parks Discovery Night Hike at Garbry Big Woods Sanctuary 

This leisurely night walk in the park will vary from .5 to 1.5 mile.

8/29- The Unlovable Creatures of the Night- Join a park naturalist at night as she tries her hardest to convince you that you don't have to grimace every time you see these creatures. You might even grow to love one along this night hike.

Approximately 12 people attended the Stargaze hosted by Kevin Cook, Mike Feinstein, and Mark Casazza who all brought telescopes for the event. Objects seen included Moon, Big and Little Dippers, Cygnus, Cassiopeia, Mizar, M5, M15, M11, M31, M81, & M82, Albireo and NGC 457.
