Comments and anecdotes about the event:
This was our first public event of the 2025-2026 observing season in Florida. The skies did clear but the mosquitoes were nasty causing many guests to leave prematurely. Several of our members are now using Smart Scopes instead of traditional eyepiece views. The Moon and Saturn were the highlights through the eyeiece. The Lagoon Nebula was a big hit in the Smartscopes.
