Space Rocks!

Free STEM event on Friday, September 26th from 5pm - 9pm

Location: The Community Center at Piedmont Park, just near the 12th Street entrance (behind Shake Shack).
 

Brought to you by the Atlanta Astronomy Club and the Piedmont Park Conservancy.

In partnership with Tellus Science Museum, Georgia State University and the Meteorite Association of Georgia. 
 

The event includes:

• Talks from Tellus Science Museum and the Meteorite Association of Georgia
• Demonstrations from Georgia State University 
• Actual pieces of outer space - see meteorites from Mars and the Moon

We are also showcasing a fragment of the "McDonough Meteorite", that collided into Georgia on June 26th.
