Event Report

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
We’re back!!! We have returned from our Summer hiatus and tonight was our first outreach event since the end of May. We had a great turnout of members, 10 members in all, with 6 telescopes and 1 binocular rig set up. I left my telescope in the car and took the opportunity to interact with attendees. We had 11 visitors stop by for this event. It was a clear night and those arriving early got to view the setting Sun through a white light filter. There was a nice bright Moon to share with all and we were also able to show Mars, a couple of globular clusters and some double stars. We also spotted some satellites traversing the sky.
