Event

The family friendly "Night Sky Wonders" program will take place indoors at Heritage Hall at Lost Creek Reserve on Saturday, November 15th from 7:00 pm- 8:30 pm. After a brief introduction about seasonal constellations, there will be 4 interactive stations. It will be followed by observing with outdoor telescopes, if the sky is clear.

Comments and anecdotes about the event:
The 'Winter Sky Wonders' indoor program was attended by 11 visitors, 6 being children under 12. Following a presentation on Constellations, the attendees visited 4 interactive stations on Cultural Sky Stories, Making Planispheres, Night Sky Memory aides and Binocular Viewing. In addition, many telescopes were on display. Eight club members supported this event.
